Rules on Use of the Brand Symbol for Authorized Dealers and Distributors

Brand Symbols with certain specifications have been arranged for the authorized dealers and distributors of the Kyocera Group (below: Dealer/Distributor Brand Symbols). These Dealer/Distributor Brand Symbols are created and managed by the Kyocera Brand Management Committee, and the individual creation of such symbols by business units or Group Companies is strictly prohibited.
When special use is required by an entity other than an authorized dealer or authorized distributor, please consult with the Kyocera Corporate Communications Division Brand Promotion Section.

Application

Authorized Dealers and Authorized Distributors of the Kyocera Group * As a general rule, this is contingent upon the conclusion of a dealer or distributor agreement with the Kyocera Group. Please contact the Kyocera Corporate Communications Division Brand Promotion Section with any questions.

Scope of Application
  • Catalogs, pamphlets, leaflets, POP displays, posters
  • Exhibition booth signage
  • Letterheads
  • Signage for corporate buildings and stores
  • Various advertisements
  • Business cards
  • Websites, etc.

Prior Application

When using the Dealer/Distributor Brand Symbols, it is necessary to submit an application with a draft design to the Brand Management Committee and obtain approval in advance.
(No application form is needed. Only the draft design needs to be checked.)

Brand Symbols for Authorized Dealers and Authorized Distributors

When using the Brand Symbol for authorized dealers and distributors, always download the master data from the download page. Additionally, only use the Brand Symbol for corporate or other signage.

Ensuring Clear Space

Brand Symbols for authorized dealers and distributors must be distinguished from other information and clearly displayed in a way that always maintains their symbolism.
The Clear Space is the minimum space necessary for achieving this. No other information can be displayed within this area.
Always ensure that space equal to or greater than the designated Clear Space is maintained.

When using the Dealer/Distributor Brand Symbols, always download the master data.

When only the Kyocera Brand Symbol is displayed in standalone format

When a dealer or distributor has its own unique brand logo, it should be displayed more prominently than the Kyocera Brand Symbol.
(As a general rule, on the left side or at the top)

When displayed together with the brand symbol(s) of another company or companies

Only when the Brand Symbol is displayed together with the brand symbol(s) of another company or companies, the Kyocera Brand Symbol may be used in a standalone format, while observing the Clear Space rules.
Give consideration to the overall layout and maintain designated Clear Space to avoid giving the false impression that Kyocera is the principal party.
