Product Catalogs: Front Cover Design Format

Product catalogs are a widely distributed communication tool and play an important role in directly linking products with a brand.

As shown on the right, there are two design formats for product catalogs (with and without a corporate brand area). In general, product catalogs should be designed on the assumption of using the type that includes the corporate brand area. (Check the next page for details of each format.)

Edit the background of the brand symbol according to the background color rules to make the brand symbol appear in a way that is clear and visible.

Product Catalogs: Front Cover Design Format (with brand area)

The Brand Symbol and text-based product information are displayed in the brand area.
Based on the rules described on the right, place the Brand Symbol at the top let, and text-based product information inside the displayable area at the top right. Display of the product brand logo within this area is prohibited.

Use the free space in the center for elements such as product brand logos.

The Company Logo is generally arranged at the bottom left, but it can also be removed from the front cover. In this case, make sure it is included on the back cover.
