Product Catalog Cover Design Formats
Product catalogs are widely distributed communication tools and play an important role in directly linking products with the brand.
As shown below, there are two design formats for product catalogs: one with a corporate brand area, and one without a corporate brand area.
As a general rule, designs should conform to the “ with corporate brand area ” format as the standard. ( For details of each format, please refer to the next page. )

Product Catalog Cover Design Format
( With Brand Area )
Display the brand symbol and product text information within the brand area.
In accordance with the specifications below, place the brand symbol in the upper left and the product information text in the upper right within the designated display area.
The product brand logo must not be displayed within the same area.
Use the central free space for product brand logos and similar elements.
The company name logo should, in principle, be placed in the lower left.
However, it may be omitted from the cover. In such cases, be sure to include it on page 4 ( back cover ).

( Without Brand Area )
In accordance with the specifications below, place the brand symbol in the upper left and the product information text in the upper right within the designated display area.
The company name logo should, in principle, be placed in the lower left. However, it may be omitted from the cover. In such cases, be sure to include it on page 4 ( back cover ).

The background of the brand symbol must be modified according to the background color guidelines, so that the brand symbol remains clearly recognizable.

In the case of product lines that adopt the “ sub-brand strategy, ” Guideline ② above may also be applied, but only after consulting and receiving approval from the Secretariat of the Kyocera Brand Management Committee.
